Annual Pearce Family Camping Trip

For at least the last 5 years the Pearce family has been getting together for a 'camping' trip each summer. It's a 'camping' trip because we've stayed in tents only twice, the other years we've been in cabins. This year we stayed at Three Bears Lodge in Warrens, WI. It was Lucas' first time in Wisconsin, first time in a lake and pool, and the first time he met his Uncles Brent and Shawn, Aunt Courtney, and cousins Breck and Cullen...lots of new things for him. It was a busy weekend and Lucas handled it well. Here are a few pics from the trip.

The cousins are united! What a good looking group of boys. Thanks to Auntie Elicia they had matching sunglasses in honor of the 4th of July.

One morning when Grandpa was trying to get some quiet time on the porch, the grandsons invaded his silence...so I thought I'd get a picture of the boys together.

Lucas wasn't a huge fan of the lake but he did pretty good at the pool. Here he's hanging out in the shade...where we tried to keep him but he ended up with a small sunburn on his cheek and arm. Oops, lesson learned...seconds and minutes matter significantly for babies and the sun.

And here's Grandma with her grandsons. (Cullen was getting tired of all the pictures.)



I really like Lucas' smile in the picture with Grandma and Mommy...just wish he was looking at the camera.
