St. Louis weekend

We wrapped up the school year with a quick trip to St. Louis. We had a fun time playing, going to a Cards baseball game, swimming in the pool, and going to the zoo. Lucas loves Fredbird from a distance, which is evident in the picture. 

Lucas couldn't get far enough away. 

I forget what Lucas did to make us laugh but we were thankful for a beautiful day together and eating our weight in popcorn!

The next day the animals in Lucas' book came to life at the zoo. While he likes all the animals he still talks about the baby elephant, who is my fav as well. 

All in all, we agree that more weekend trips need to be in our future.
